Opera Café: A Luxurious Culinary Haven in Kuala Lumpur’s Starhill Gallery Nestled in the heart of Kuala Lumpur’s Starhill Gallery, the Opera Café has been meticulously designed to exude luxury and attract the city’s elite clientele.
With a captivating and comfortable ambiance, the restaurant’s brilliantly lit interior showcases exceptional craftsmanship and a dramatic design that covers an expansive 3,000 square feet of prime real estate, housing both the restaurant and café lounge.
The color palette of purple and gold, emblematic of opulence and exotic culture, sets the stage for this turnkey project. Comprehensive in scope, the project included the provision of all fittings, supply and installation of kitchen equipment, and execution of all mechanical and electrical works.
This streamlined approach enabled us to maintain strict quality control, closely monitor the supply chain, and ensure that all fittings were thoroughly inspected before and after installation, ultimately exceeding our client’s expectations. With custom-designed furniture pieces produced in Turkey and imported to Malaysia, the project featured unique titanium-coated steel arches.
The construction and installation of these elements, along with the intricately curved corners, required immense creativity and precision to achieve a flawless finish.
Complying with the building authorities’ pre-set requirements, we adhered to a dry construction process and utilized a raised floor system for the application of tiles and marble works. This was followed by the installation of various partitions. The tile work was arranged in a herringbone pattern, bordered by Terrazzo marble, and the overall project construction spanned a period of 4-5 months.
Situated in the bustling city center and surrounded by prestigious brands like Louis Vuitton, Opera Café required impeccable attention to detail and top-notch finishes to secure its place among its distinguished neighbors. The result is a truly luxurious culinary destination that stands out in Kuala Lumpur’s vibrant dining scene.
